More and more people are turning to non-surgical injectables and fillers as alternatives to or to delay surgical procedures. Our non-surgical treatments are perfect options for active men and women who are looking for a quick way to a youthful appearance.
We provide the following injectable and filler treatments:
Botox (Botulinum Toxin) injectables
When we make expressions with our faces, our skin is being pulled and folded over. Over time this leads to the formation of lines and wrinkles. Injectable treatments like Botox and Xeomin use a purified protein known as botulinum toxin type A to relax the face’s underlying muscles and smooth out surface lines and wrinkles such as frown lines and crow’s feet.
Botox will not fill in volume loss or hollow areas.
We offer the following injectable treatments:
Dermal fillers
Dermal fillers (unlike Botox injectables) are injected beneath the skin to fill in signs of aging, such as lines, wrinkles, folds, and areas of volume loss. These fillers are made of hyaluronic acid or calcium hydroxylapatite and used to treat a wide range of conditions, including nasolabial folds, sunken cheeks, and even thinning lips.
We offer the following dermal fillers:
- Juvéderm Ultra Plus XC – This hyaluronic acid filler is indicated for lines and wrinkles around the nose and mouth (laugh lines). It may also be used for deep lines between the eyebrows (the number 11), forehead and to achieve fuller lips.
- Radiesse – This calcium hydroxylapatite filler is used to restore volume, “lift” the face and fill hollow cheeks. It may also be injected to fill the tear troughs and back of the hands.
- Boletero – A less viscous filler for fine lines on the face, especially around the eyes
NON-SURGICAL FACELIFT
A non-surgical facelift uses a customized combination of injectables and fillers to treat various areas in the face to restore a more youthful appearance.
What to expect at your consultation
- Your anatomy, skin condition, medical history and expectation of outcome will be evaluated and discussed with Dr. Alan Tran
- Informed consent and photographic documentation will be obtained
- Topical anesthesia and ice will be applied to the areas to be treated
- Patients with history of easy bruising will be given medication to limit bruising
- Dr. Alan Tran will administer the injectable/filler and the patient will be asked for input as the procedure progresses until completion. In some cases, several sessions (6-8 weeks apart) may be necessary to achieve optimal outcome naturally.
- Most patients may return to work or daily activities on the same day. Patients with Botox will need to refrain from exercises or lying down for 6 hours. Ice application to the treated areas and elevation of the head on 2 pillows for 1-2 days after the procedure will help limit swelling and bruising.
- Patients with fillers will be shown how to massage the treated areas several times a day in the first 2 days after procedure. This will facilitate blending of the filler into the skin. Those with large volume of fillers may want to rest the evening after the procedure. Bruising occasionally occur 1-2 days after injectable treatment and usually lasts for 1 week. Most of the time it is minor and may be concealed with make-up.
